The Red Lion Area School District recognizes and values the talent, skills, and experience of community members that can help enrich student educational and extracurricular activities. In an effort to ensure the safety of our students, the District has established a volunteer policy that requires certain documentation from all of its volunteers.

Locust Grove Elementary PTO is launching a major fundraising initiative for our upcoming school years — and we need your help to bring it to life! We’re raising funds to provide our students and families with much-needed outdoor upgrades to make our playground area inclusive, accessible, and safe place for our children to grow and thrive.

October 25th | 2-5PM

Trunk or Treat & Fall Festival

Join us for the Locust Grove PTO on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 2:00–5:00 PM at the school’s rear basketball court and playground area. Admission is just $5 per student (includes 3 raffle tickets!), while adults and children 3 and under are free. Enjoy trunk or treat, food trucks, games, bounce house, toy and fun raffle items, music, and more spooktacular family fun!

Nov 3-4th | Scholastic Book Fair

The bookfair will be held during Parent-Teacher Conferences on Monday, November 3rd, and Tuesday, November 4th, with a special early student shopping time planned for Saturday, November 1st. The fair can only stay open if we have volunteers to help sell books and monitor displays, so every shift counts. Join us in making this event a success and getting more books into our kids’ hands!

Throughout the year, we host a variety of fun and meaningful events to celebrate and support our amazing teachers, students, and families. We also love giving back and connecting with our broader community. Our fundraising efforts help make it all possible — providing essential supplies, exciting events, and extra resources that go beyond what the school budget covers.
