December 2025 PTO Virtual Meeting

Quarterly Meeting for the Locust Grove Elementary PTO: Join us as we review our current financials, share updates on recent events, and begin planning for our upcoming 2026 activities and end-of-year wrap-up. We welcome all parents and caregivers to be part of the conversation and help shape the year ahead. If you’re unable to attend this meeting, our next scheduled gatherings will be in February 2026, with the final meeting of the school year taking place in April 2026.

The Red Lion Area School District recognizes and values the talent, skills, and experience of community members that can help enrich student educational and extracurricular activities. In an effort to ensure the safety of our students, the District has established a volunteer policy that requires certain documentation from all of its volunteers.

Locust Grove Elementary PTO is launching a major fundraising initiative for our upcoming school years — and we need your help to bring it to life! We’re raising funds to provide our students and families with much-needed outdoor upgrades to make our playground area inclusive, accessible, and safe place for our children to grow and thrive.

December 6th | 1-5PM

Student Holiday Shop

Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 6th, from 1–5PM for one of our most loved traditions!
Students will have the chance to shop with a personal helper and secretly pick out special gifts for their family and friends. While they’re shopping—or waiting for their turn—families are invited to gather in the multipurpose room for holiday fun, festive activities, and a warm sense of community. Come at your child’s assigned shopping time, or stay for the afternoon and enjoy the seasonal cheer!

December 6th  | Volunteers for Student Holiday Shop

  • 🎄 Set Up – Help decorate and organize the shop before the event.
  • 📋 Check-In Table Attendant – Greet families and check students in for their shopping time.
  • 🛍️ Student Shopper – Assist students as they pick out gifts for family and friends.
  • 🎁 Gift Wrapper – Wrap and label gifts so they’re ready to take home.
  • 🎨 Activities Helper – Monitor and support craft stations, and other activities in the gym.
  • ✨ Tear Down – Help clean up and pack away items after the event.

Where Every Parent Has a Place!

Throughout the year, we host a variety of fun and meaningful events to celebrate and support our amazing teachers, students, and families. We also love giving back and connecting with our broader community. Our fundraising efforts help make it all possible — providing essential supplies, exciting events, and extra resources that go beyond what the school budget covers.
